The reishi mushroom has been used in Chinese folk medicine for more than 2,000 years, as it is believed to stimulate the production of antibodies by the immune system and increase the body's natural powers. Reishi has a particularly beneficial effect on seasonal allergies due to its proven antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.
In addition to the high levels of polysaccharides (30%), these mushrooms contain over 100 triterpenoid compounds (ganoderic and lucidenic acids) found in its mature pulp. Reishi also contains some enzymes, as well as minerals - calcium, magnesium and potassium. Other components in the chemical composition of reishi are lanostane, coumarins, ergosterol and cerevisterol. Although reishi is traditionally taken in the form of tea (a so-called extract in hot water), most of the valuable ingredients in the mushroom are poorly water-soluble. The formula developed by MycoNutri combines two types of extraction of the fleshy part of the mushroom. Since triterpenes are easily dissolved in an alcoholic medium, the ethanol extract is from a reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) grown naturally on a tree log. For maximum absorption of the polysaccharides found in the mushroom, an extract was also made in warm water - an environment in which the polysaccharides are most fully dissolved.

Method of use:
