Whole grain instant porridge, suitable for babies and toddlers from 6 months. Grain-based food. Contains gluten. No added sugar¹. Easy to prepare.
Preparation instructions from the 6th month:
Preparation with baby food or infant formula: Prepare 170ml of your chosen baby food or infant formula (according to instructions). Pour into a bowl and add 18g of the dry mix (approximately 3-4 tbsp) while stirring continuously. Leave until thickened and cooled to body temperature (approximately 37°C).
Preparation with milk and water: Mix 100ml whole milk and 100ml water and bring to the boil. Cool to around 50°C. Pour the liquid into a bowl and add 25g of the dry mixture (approximately 5 tbsp) while stirring continuously. Leave until it thickens and cools to body temperature (around 37°C).
Preparation with breast milk: Mix 25g of the dry mixture (approximately 5 tablespoons) into 130ml of warm breast milk. Please note: to preserve the valuable nutrients, do not heat the breast milk above 40°C. Breast milk contains enzymes that liquefy the porridge. This does not affect the quality of the food in any way.
Preparing dairy-free porridge: Pour 200ml of water and bring to the boil. Cool to around 50°C. Add 25g of dry porridge (approx. 5 tbsp) and 1 tsp Holle Demeter Baby Nutrition Oil and stir until you reach the desired consistency.
Making dairy-free porridge with fruit or vegetables: Mix 20g dry porridge (approx. 4 tbsp) with 100g baby fruit puree from a jar or 100g fresh fruit puree and 1 tsp Holle Demeter Baby Nutrition Oil. Alternatively, you can use 160g warmed vegetable puree from a jar and add 2 tsp Holle Demeter Baby Nutrition Oil. Option: Add meat (approx. 30g) to the porridge. Add water (approx. 90ml, boiled and cooled to 50°C).
