Arnica (Arnica montana) is a herbaceous plant with a strong and very pleasant aroma. The arnica extract works by stimulating the activity of leukocytes in the hematoma, helping to disperse fluids from injured muscles and joints. It also has some anti-inflammatory and antibacterial action, which helps reduce pain and swelling, and indirectly accelerates wound healing.
