Clear Test Heroine Codeine Morphine Surestep Drug Screen is a test to detect the presence of opiates, such as heroin, codeine and morphine, and their metabolites in human urine. Available in test strips. The test was developed on the basis of the in vitro test. It is designed to determine the amount of opiates and their metabolites in human urine samples. Opiates and their metabolites can be detected in the urine after taking heroin, morphine, codeine or poppy seeds. The test detects opiates in a concentration above 300 ng/ml. A lyophilized conjugate of colloidal gold particles with a unique combination of polyclonal antibodies for the detection of opiates or their metabolites is fixed on a specially made membrane. Opoid analgesics encompass a large group of substances controlling pain and acting on the central nervous system. High dose and constant use leads to lack of coordination, suffocation, hypothermia and coma. Morphine is excreted unmetabolized. Morphine and its glucuronide can be detected in the urine several days after taking the opioid dose. The opiate test is based on a specific immunochemical reaction between antibodies and antigens to analyze a particular specific constituent of the human urine specimen. The plate accounts for competition for antibody binding between morphine compounds and free morphine, which can be detected as present in urine specimens. When morphine is present in the urine sample, it competes with morphine compounds for the limited amount of antimorphine antibodies that are also mobilized on the nitrocellulose membrane. When the amount is equal to or more than the permissible limit of 300 ml, it will prevent binding of the morphine-stained compounds to the antibodies. Therefore, a positive urine specimen will not show a colored band in the test area indicating a positive result while the presence of a colored band indicates or means a negative result. The control line is present in the test window to serve as a control over the procedure. This colored band should always appear in the control line area if the test device has been stored in good conditions and the test has been performed correctly.

How to use Clear Test for Opiates (Heroin, Codeine, Morphine) Strips.
The test becomes invalid if it is removed from the package 30 minutes before testing.
Directions for use for test strip: Urine samples can be taken at any time of the day. 1. Fill a basin with urine. 2. Remove the test strip from the foil package. 3. Dip the strip up to the blue line in the urine sample cup with the arrows pointing down. The level should not be higher than that of the arrows. 4. Leave the strip in the urine and remove it after a minimum of 30 seconds, then place it on a flat non-absorbent surface. 5. The result is read between 3 and 10 minutes. Interpretation of the result: A. Positive: If no colored band appears in the test section, but only in the control section. C. Negative: If two colored bands appear in the test area, the result is negative. C. Invalid: The result is invalid if no color band appears in the control area. The test is repeated with a new strip.
