GeloRivois® throat tablets contain: xanthan, carbomer, sodium hyaluronate. Other ingredients: isomalt, sodium hydrogen carbonate, xylitol, citric acid, macrogol, potassium monohydrogen phosphate, flavor (elder), zinc stearate, silicon dioxide, sucralose.
GeloRivois® throat lozenges do not contain substances of animal origin, gluten and lactose. Package Contents: GeloRivois® are available in two pack sizes: 10 lozenges (non-sold sample) and 20 lozenges.
Purpose: GeloRivois® throat tablets provide protection of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat. They are used to relieve the throat, for ailments such as hoarseness, irritation in the throat, dryness of the mucous membrane, which lead to a sore throat or to a non-productive, dry cough. The causes of dryness and irritation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat can be different and include:
• straining the voice,
• impaired nasal breathing (e.g. due to a cold),
• dry air due to the use of heating or air conditioning systems,
• pollen allergy (hay fever)
• smoking.
Mode of action: When sucked, GeloRivois® tablets form a special hydrogel complex that contains hyaluronic acid. This complex adheres well to the mucous membrane, where it forms a protective film on the irritated areas. Due to their special mineral content and mild effervescent effect, the lozenges stimulate salivation. This is very important to ensure good distribution of the hydrogel complex in the mouth and throat area. The irritated areas can regenerate and thus relieve symptoms such as hoarseness, throat irritation, dryness of the mucous membrane that lead to sore throats.
GeloRivois® throat lozenges have a pleasant mild elderberry taste.
Contraindications and precautions: Do not use GeloRivois® throat lozenges if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before using GeloRivois® throat lozenges for the first time if you suffer from reduced salivation. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance should not use GeloRivois® lozenges, as isomalt is partially converted to fructose in the body.

GeloRivois® throat lozenges Buzz-free Menthol
Do not use GeloRivois® lozenges at the same time as other mouth and throat medications. Do not use lozenges lying down due to the risk of choking. Use in children: Do not use in children under 6 years of age. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding: There are no data available on contraindications for the use of GeloRivois® throat tablets during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Use in certain groups of patients: Patients who are on a low-salt diet should keep in mind that
1 GeloRivois® tablet contains 3.2 mmol of sodium. GeloRivois® throat lozenges do not contain sugar and are suitable for diabetics. Adverse reactions: In case of excessive use, it is possible that GeloRivois® throat tablets can cause a laxative effect or cause gastrointestinal complaints. Method and duration of administration: Allow the tablet to slowly melt in the mouth until it completely disintegrates. In this way, a complete development of the hydrogel complex is ensured
and its full distribution. Tablets should not be chewed or swallowed whole. How often can you use GeloRivois® throat lozenges? You can suck 1 GeloRivois® tablet several times a day, according to your condition, for example every 2-3 hours. A maximum of 6 tablets per day can be used. It is recommended to take the tablets after a meal. How long can you use GeloRivois® throat lozenges? GeloRivois® throat lozenges can be used for a long time or administered intermittently. If acute symptoms (e.g. fever, sore throat, pain in limbs) worsen or do not improve within 3 days, please consult your doctor. Expiry date information: Do not use GeloRivois® throat lozenges after the expiry date. Storage instructions: Store GeloRivois® in a dry place below 25 °C. Always close the aluminum tube tightly after removing a tablet. GeloRivois throat lozenges are available in two flavors: Cherry-Menthol, Elderberry-without Menthol. Store the medical device in a safe place. To be stored in a place inaccessible to children.
