Description
Urogut 160 mg/ 120 mg soft capsules. 1 capsule contains: 160 mg liquid extract of the fruits of the Sabal palm (Sao Palmetto, Saw Palmetto) and 120 mg dry extract of nettle roots.
Urogut 160 mg/120 mg is a herbal medicinal product of the German pharmaceutical company Dr. Willmar Schwabe, indicated for the long-term treatment of urinary complaints in mild to moderate benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Urogut 160 mg/120 mg is the only herbal medicinal product combining in its composition the two special extracts of the fruits of the saw palmetto (sabal) and the roots of the nettle. The two ingredients synergistically complement their effects, making it extremely effective in alleviating both types of symptoms in BPH; 1. irritative (incl. bladder irritation) – frequent urination, nighttime urination, painful urination, feeling of incomplete bladder emptying, imperative urges to urinate and 2. obstructive (difficulty urinating due to pressure and obstruction of the urethra) – delayed onset of urination, prolonged urination, with a weak stream or with frequent interruptions, post-voiding urine leakage, post-voiding urine retention in the bladder.
The special extract of the fruit of the sao flame (WS 1473) blocks testosterone-dependent growth of the prostate, and the additional antispasmodic effects lead to relaxation of the muscle cells of the prostate and urethra, improving urinary flow and relieving general complaints. It also contributes to the anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effect.
It is extremely well tolerated and can be taken for a long time (over 2 years) without side effects on potency and libido. It can be combined with other medications.
The dosage is 1 tablet 2 times a day. The duration of treatment is unlimited, but the intervals for urological examination must be observed, taking into account the severity of the complaints.
Urogut contains soybean oil.
If you are allergic to peanuts or soy, do not use this product.
This medicinal product only improves the symptoms caused by an enlarged prostate, without eliminating the enlargement. Therefore, it is recommended to consult a doctor for regular check-ups, especially if there is blood in the urine or acute urinary retention. If after taking the medicinal product the symptoms persist or the condition worsens, the treatment should be re-evaluated.
